Hiring Estheticians to: Provide skincare treatments to face and body to enhance an individual's appearance. Includes waxing hair removal.
Basic Skill Requirements

• Ability to follow extablished prototcol for specified facials and not stray from specifed methodology except to account for specific skin types/treatments.
Technical Skill Requirements
• Must be a certified and licensed esthetician in the state of Colorado
• Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
• Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
• Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
System Skill and Resource Management Requirements
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

• Internet - Navigating the Internet to find information, including the ability to open standard browsers; use searches, and send and retrieve electronic mail (e-mail). Use the online scheduling software and time reporting.
Daily Task Performance
• Clean and sanitize tools and work environment.
• Schedule client appointments and accept payments.
• Examine clients' skin, using magnifying lamps or visors when necessary, to evaluate skin condition and appearance.
• Cleanse clients' skin with water, creams, or lotions.
• Demonstrate how to clean and care for skin properly and recommend skin-care regimens.
• Select and apply cosmetic products such as creams, lotions, and tonics.
• Perform simple extractions to remove blackheads.
• Stay abreast of latest industry trends, products, research, and treatments.
• Determine which products or colors will improve clients' skin quality and appearance.
• Treat the facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, using specialized techniques and products, such as peels and masks.
• Refer clients to medical personnel for treatment of serious skin problems.
• Remove body and facial hair by applying wax.
• Provide facial and body massages.
• Keep records of client needs and preferences and the services provided.
• Apply chemical peels to reduce fine lines and age spots.
• Advise clients about colors and types of makeup and instruct them in makeup application techniques.
• Maintain supply inventories and records of client services using the salon services software system.
• Promote and sell skin care products.
• Brew coffee and/or tea
• Pour wine or beer (if you are over 21 years old)
• Serve beverages and snacks as desired by the guest.
• Clean and sanitize tools, bowls and work area. Assist in general cleanliness and sanitation of the salon.
Daily Work Activities

Experience Required
• Prior work experience as an Esthetician is a plus. We do train in-house.
• We provide continual product and technique training
• Must hold currect Colorado Esthetician license
• Must be very polite and corteuos
