Glo Skin Beauty is seeking a full time Sales Consultant to join our team and grow our territory in the Denver, Colorado area.  Our Sales Consultants are driven sales professionals with a passion for our award-winning premium mineral cosmetic and skincare products.  The Glo Sales Consultant is proven to be a self-motivated, achievement-oriented salesperson focused on growth while also being known by clients as a natural relationship builder and true business partner.  Sales Consultants are responsible for managing and growing existing client accounts and prospecting new clients in the area.  Sales Consultants are members of our national outside sales field sales team and report to the Regional Manager.

Glo's sales compensation package reflects our principle that higher performance drives higher rewards. This includes a competitive base salaryquarterly bonuses increasing incrementally with each percentage of goal achievement, and monthly bonuses for opening new accounts.  Our incentives are not capped, and there is no limit to your success or reward.  At glo, we support growth and generously reward high performance.  Our Sales Career Advancement Program provides a clear path for our Business Consultants to be promoted and earn successively higher compensation. Sales consultants have three opportunities for promotion which could increase base salary substantially. New Sales Consultants will also attend new hire orientation at our beautiful corporate headquarters located in Denver, Colorado and will receive consistent coaching and support from their Regional Manager.

 Essential duties of the Sales Consultant:
As a Glo Business Consultant, you will actively maintain existing client accounts, drive growth by adding new accounts, manage the territory as your own business, and represent the Glo brand positively.
  • Actively maintain existing client accountsconduct regular business meetings with active accounts; lead trainings with new accounts and refresher trainings with ongoing training and education with both new and existing accounts; plan and organize workshops and events with our dedicated Education team; collaborate with clients to create actionable business plans resulting in revenue generation for them and glo.
  • Drive growth by adding new accounts:profile prospects throughout territory; develop a robust pipeline of leads; educate and market to prospects on glo’s products; and convert leads into customers through follow-up visits, strong persuasion and communication skills, and a collaborative, consultative approach.
  • Drive Sales Results:be recognized for your performance at regional sales meetings with your co-workers and on regional conference calls; manage customer orders and questions; make decisions using available information and resources; assist in the development of territory sales forecasts; create monthly territory analysis; use organizational skills to plan sales call rotations, record sales notes, track prospects, and comply with required reporting and other internal administration tasks.
  • Represent the Glo brand positively:share your passion for skincare and mineral makeup products with enthusiasm; ensure a strong working knowledge of our full product portfolio and ability to clearly promote our products’ value; demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to Regional Manager coaching and customer feedback; communicate clearly and respond to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties:
  • Assist with inventory, merchandising, and marketing
  • Engage in cold calling activities
  • Develop strategic territory plan in alignment with national strategy
  • Share successful techniques and practices with peers and foster innovation within the team
  • Implement and support new promotions and new product launches
Job qualifications:
  • Must live within the Colorado territory and within one hour from the Denver city center. 
  • Knowledge of sales techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly, apply best-practice selling skills, and use a consultative approach to learn how to meet a client’s business needs
  • Experience in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Ability to function independently, manage time and resources effectively, and adjust behaviors to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite, internet browsers, and ability to use a tablet
  • Organizational and administrative skills to manage sales management tasks such as expense reporting, weekly and monthly sales reporting, and other administrative tasks in our internal SAND database as well as third-party applications and software
Strongly preferred experience:
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales role
  • Professional experience in beauty industry
Working Conditions:
  • Travel by car daily and by plane weekly or monthly, including overnight stays in territory in order to visit current and prospective client locations in person
  • Regular travel to attend quarterly regional meetings
  • Business Consultants must live within the assigned territory
  • Work may occur before/after normal business hours
  • Physical activities include driving, lifting products in/out of vehicles, carrying boxes, listening and speaking with clients, demonstrating product use, using tablet and mobile phone 
Please note the ideal candidate will be looking for full time employment within our organization as this is not a multilevel sales opportunity.
