glo is looking for an experienced recruiter to join our team in Denver.  Our ideal candidate has experience in full cycle recruiting and an interest in elevating our talent acquisition practices.  We would love to welcome someone who has a desire to contribute meaningfully to a Human Resources team focused on both strategy and tactics, shares a passion for developing authentic professional relationships, and brings positive energy to every workday.  This is a non-supervisory, individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Essential duties of the Recruiter: 
  • Full cycle talent acquisition: source, evaluate, assess, and recommend candidates to hiring managers; utilize insightful interviewing techniques; maintain accurate information in our Applicant Tracking System; administer offer letters and new hire paperwork; facilitate transition to new hire onboarding; maintain excellent communication with stakeholders throughout process; take ownership of current cycle and suggest ways to improve it as needed.
  • Develop strong relationships and serve as a business partner: understand business needs to develop a recruiting strategy; comfortable with developing and managing talent metrics; develop relationships with hiring managers; treat every candidate with courtesy; proactively seek insight into changing needs of the business or of employees/candidates; collaborate across all departments to integrate fully with the business; be a “people person” and a resource for all of our existing and future talent; coach hiring managers on best practices and legal considerations as needed.
  • Represent the glo brand positively: serve as a role model for a culture of positivity within glo and for a positive reflection of our company when communicating with candidates; maintain a strong understanding of our business needs and value proposition for candidates; demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to coaching and customer feedback; communicate clearly and respond in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties:
  • Evaluate processes or strategies for efficacy and recommend improvements; develop solutions to identified problems
  • Assist with a variety of Human Resources projects when recruiting workload is low, including both strategic and tactical projects.
  • Monitor industry trends, research best practices, monitor innovations in talent acquisition and talent management in general.
  • Collaborate with glo’s marketing team to ensure our employer branding is consistent with our product branding.


Job qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in recruiting, especially for hard-to-fill jobs or sales roles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, ask meaningful questions, develop rapport and trust; polished phone and email presence; sensitivity and confidentiality in handling information.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders; ability to develop rapport, credibility, and trust;
  • Ability to function independently, manage time and resources effectively, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office suite, comfort with various software applications, experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Organizational and administrative skills to maintain excellent transparency into our recruiting process via our Applicant Tracking System, and to maintain contact and transparency with candidates throughout process.
  • Adept at utilizing social media for talent acquisition, interest in applying employer branding concepts.
Strongly preferred experience:
  • Recruiting for outside sales roles, prior sales experience, and/or experience as a corporate recruiter
  • Interest or experience in beauty industry
  • Exposure to workforce planning and developing a future-focused pipeline
  • Using direct sourcing methods to identify candidates (including passive candidates) to develop a candidate pipeline and robust network for generating applicant referrals


Working Conditions:
  • Reporting daily to home office during normal business hours
  • Using the telephone and/or webcam to speak with candidates
  • Physical activities include sitting at a computer for long periods of time, using a telephone, using office equipment such as a copier, occasionally lifting small boxes of supplies or documents.
