Spa Concierge Jalan Facial Spa - Denver, CO $12 an hour - Part-time We are looking for a part-time Spa Concierge to be part of the opening team for a totally new, innovative, spa concept located in Denver, Colorado. Jalan is a unique day spa focused on facial, massage, and foot reflexology treatments with complimentary amenities such as aromatherapy, footbaths, mediation garden, and its signature lemongrass tea, all delivered within a serene retreat. Modeled after its successful sister brand with 60 locations throughout southeast Asia, Jalan’s expert consultants will blend traditional Eastern traditions with modern techniques to provide an immersive experience--what we call the Jalan Journey. Unlike some day spas that have an almost clinical or retail feeling, Jalan will offer a therapeutic journey for half the price of high-end day spas and hotel/resort spas. Responsibilities: Greeting all arriving and departing guests by name Prepare arrival and departure tea for the guest Maintain a professional appearance at all times Anticipate guest’s needs and respond with congenial hospitality Lead guests through their journey Attend weekly staff meetings Answer phone calls and make reservations Understand Jalan’s culture Manage POS system and guest profiles Assist in retail sales Skills and Qualification: High School graduate or similar level of education in a related field Related spa or customer service experience Ability to work mornings, nights, and weekends Ability to communicate fluently in primary language of the workplace, both verbally and nonverbally Remain in stationary position for 8 hours throughout shift Endure physical movements throughout the work area Able to reach 24 inches Benefits: Employees who work 29 hours or above per week will receive the following benefits: basic group life insurance, long term disability, a portion of medical insurance premium, and 15 days of PTO.
