Position Summary – Esthetician
The Esthetician provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well-being and enhances the club experience. Some services include haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling that result in sales, services and products that exceed the guest’s expectations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows our protocols to provide the best treatments in the spa industry
- Demonstrates the expert skills necessary for performing microdermabrasion, waxing, facials and body treatments. Experience with Hydrafacial and Lash Artistry is a plus, but not required.
- Educates the guest on the benefits of the service performed and is a retail rock star!
- Prepares each and every treatment as prescribed by our treatment criteria.
- Makes each guest feel special and provides a unique experience each and every time
- This is a fulltime position, and weekend shifts are required.
- Provides individualized services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs and expectations
- Educates clients on GLAM and Salon products, services, and treatments to assist them in maintaining their style.
- Serves as a master subject matter expert in hair analysis, maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique.
- Promotes all GLAM and Salon products, services and treatments.
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
- Maintains spa treatment rooms to salon standards.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completed Cosmetology school
- All Levels of Experience as an Esthetician
- Cosmetology license in Colorado
- Ability to perform various types of hair services and treatments
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Requirements*
- Aveda Institute Training
- Experience as an esthetician in a professional setting
- Knowledge in Salon Biz software
