Weber Facial Plastic Surgery is seeking to hire an exceptional esthetician to provide skincare products, services and treatments. We have two treatment rooms designated for skincare services including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, MicroPen treatments and facials. We have the most recent Visia imaging system. The office is a state of the art, beautiful facility located in Lone Tree that opened in December 2013. Dr. Weber is a double board certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and we are a full service Facial Plastic Surgery practice with an in-office surgical suite.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the delivery of elective skin care services for patients and medical grade product sales, working under the supervision of Dr. Weber. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans. Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended and continues to return to receive skin care treatment. Injectable treatments are all performed by Dr. Weber.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma; college degree preferred.
2. Three-years experience working as an esthetician.
3. Appropriately licensed in state of Colorado.
4. Peel and Microdermabrasion certification.
5. Experience with medical-grade skincare products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Determines patient skin care goals and objectives and recommends appropriate products and services.
2. Effectively performs skincare treatments including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Dermapen/ Micropen, facials
3. Seeks advice and supervision of physician, as required by both Weber Facial Plastic Surgery and Colorado state law, on treatment protocols and notifies Dr. Weber of any patient noncompliance.
4. Responsible for the coordination of any correspondence to patients regarding their skin care treatment plan, product usage or home care instructions.
5. Maintains electronic medical records detailing all patient procedures, products, medication history and educational materials received.
6. Maintain a valid Paramedical Esthetician License in accordance with Colorado state regulations as well as Chemical peel and Microdermabrasion certifications.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitors equipment to ensure proper operation and maintains said equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
2. Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA and Colorado state standards.
3. Provides assistance with medical practice projects and duties, as needed.
4. Participates and attends in-service educational programs and staff meetings.
5. Tracks referral sources, sends thank-you letters to the source, and posts consultation letters to the patient.
6. Maintains inventory-tracking system for retail and professional products.
7. Calculates run rate and monitors ongoing inventory. Communicates with Office Manager to ensure timely reordering of products and supplies.
