Salon Coordinator and Aveda Product Specialist

Operations
The primary responsibility of the salon coordinator is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a salon and ensure that productivity goals are met. The salon coordinator will schedule stylists and match clients to a particular stylist according to their specific needs. It is important that the coordinator is familiar with each stylist's specialties. The coordinator will also serves as receptionist and will schedule client appointments. He or she will also need to make schedule adjustments throughout the day.

Sales
Salon coordinators must have expansive knowledge of the Aveda products line. The salon coordinator should be able to help customers find products to suit their needs and increase product sales within the salon. The salon coordinator will work in tandem with the stylists, esthetician, and masseuse, to pair products that will benefit our client's skin and hair.

Customer Service
The salon coordinator is usually positioned at the front of the salon and is generally the first contact a customer will have. He or she should have excellent customer service skills, be able to answer questions and assist customers during their overall salon experience. The coordinator may also be the first point of contact to diffuse any situations that require attentions before escalation to an owner.
