Manager of Training Development

Massage Envy is the world's largest provider of massage and facial therapy. Massage Envy is seeking a highly motivated, high energy, outgoing business trainer to oversee the development and implementation of initial and ongoing associate training.

The Manager of Training Development is responsible for the training of sales associates and massage therapists. The Manager of Training Development will be responsible for the initial and ongoing training for all Massage Envy Associates focusing on sales and customer service skills.

Essential Duties:

•Development and implementation of training curriculum
•Initial and ongoing training of sales associates
•Initial and ongoing customer service training of massage therapists and estheticians
•Evaluation of associates customer service capabilities
•Advanced training of specialized skill aptitudes
•Cross trained to provide sales associate coverage in flex-times
•Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

•College education preferred
•Three to five years of sales/management experience in Spa/service/retail industry
•Membership sales experience preferred
•Post-secondary degree preferred
•Ability to effectively interact, communicate and train staff.
•Abe to communicate up-line information to Director of Operations and Franchise Owners
•Excellent trainer and motivator
•Millennium software experience
•Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
•Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the operation of the business, including the massage therapy and esthetician services

•Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with guests, members, staff, regional developers, franchise owners and vendors.
•Must be able to be well versed and proficient in Office Products for the computer.

Compensation: Base Salary: $26,000-$30,000 Target Bonus $10,000
