JOB SUMMARY


Full-Time 34-40 Hours per week


1-2 evenings per week


Must hold current Laser Technician license


Must have active MA,RN, or Medical Esthetician license


Must be able to independently perform laser procedures


Knowledgeable in OSHA standards including aseptic techniques


Knowledgeable of skin care products


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform services such as chemical peels, BBL/IPL lasers, laser skin resurfacing, fractional resurfacing, Microlaser Peels, Radio Frequency tightening and fat reduction
Ensures compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Conducts patient consultations that include intake, exam, and consulting
Maintains inventory of medical supplies and advises Manager of orders needed to be placed.
Maintains laser and medical equipment
Assist Physician with various procedures and examinations in a plastic surgery office / surgical environment.
Sterilizes and stocks all instruments according to accepted office guidelines.
Cleans rooms after each procedure as assigned.
Telephones in prescriptions as directed by Physician.
Provides telephone calls to patients regarding pre-op instructions. Provides follow-up information to patients as directed by Physician. Documents all conversations and prescriptions called in on a daily basis.
Updates patient charts with current medical information.
Ensures patient exam rooms are fully stocked, organized and clean at all times.
Takes patient before and after photos and properly organizes them.
Organizes patient flow through the assigned area.
Completes patient forms as necessary.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Perform front desk administrative duties as needed.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


Our ideal candidate has two or more years of experience in a five-star customer service position within the skin/medical spa industry and has an active cosmetic laser license as well as an MA, RN, or Medical Esthetician license. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling management software. Must be able to multi-task and complete daily responsibilities as well as ongoing projects in a timely manner. Reliability and professionalism are expected.


The schedule is four days a week 9 a.m. to 5:30/6:30 p.m., approximately 35 hours a week. Pay depending on experience.
