The College of International Esthetics, Inc. is growing! With the addition of two satellite classrooms, we are looking for an experienced, licensed instructor to join our team. Our education goes beyond the basics of just skincare. Our school imparts deeper knowledge and teaches specific techniques with a medical-esthetic focus. HOURS Tuesday-Thursday 9:30am-3:15pm, Friday-Saturday 8:15am-3:15pm JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES The instructor is required to complete training and, depending on qualifications, put through all areas of study. Our expectation is that every instructor teach with the same voice and therefore the same procedures. This position is responsible for overseeing the student clinic. All students on the clinic are midway through the program or close to graduating. The clinic position entails supervising all student services in the treatment of basic and advanced facials, body treatments, full body waxing, makeup application, lash and brow tinting, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, etc. While overseeing these services, the instructor will ensure skin analysis has been properly performed, product selection is appropriate to the client's needs and skin type, and ensure that the service is being performed accurately. Additionally, the instructor will assist students with completing required tests, meeting requirements for graduation, finalizing assignments such as resume and business plan, as well as assist students in retailing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MUST have 2 years of experience in the industry and 4,000 hours active work experience (required) Active Colorado esthetician or cosmetologist license (required) Certified in microdermabrasion and chemical peeling in Colorado (required) Preference given to those with "medical-esthetic" experience Familiar with IMAGE skincare and Sanitas a plus Previous teaching/training experience a plus ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS The College of International Esthetics, Inc. offers advanced training in Lash Extensions, Permanent Makeup, Dermaplanning, Micro Needling, Laser, IPL, and Radio Frequency. Additional certifications in any of these areas of study are a huge benefit.
