The Wifey Publicity Publicist Position

• Part-Time 10 - 38 Hours Per Week Leading To Full-Time
• Performance Based Position
• Each Publicist Will Be Working On One Or More Campaigns
• Hourly Pay, Paid Bi-Weekly and/or Weekly
• NO RETAINERS
• Work Remotely From Your Home Office
• Some Meetings Required At Our Offices, On Set, On Film Sets, On Location, At Salon/School/Salon Suites, Breakfast-Brunch or Dinner Meetings or Events

The Wifey Publicity Publicist is responsible for ...

• Managing our Cision Database
• Creating and executing strategic and results-driven publicity campaigns
• Writing press releases, media alerts and briefing documents
• Serving as daily contact with media and clients
• Maintain executive calendar including emails, rolling calls, booking of appointments, and coordination of logistics for events, travel, press, photo shoots, video shoots, and rehearsals.
• Planning and spearheading press events
• Generating reports and event recaps
• Cultivating and maintaining media relationships
• Actively pitching panels and securing placement of stories with local, regional, national and international broadcast, print, radio and online press
• Securing asset premieres (trailers, clips, exclusive content, etc)
• Creating e-mail blasts
• Helping to build and maintain our master press database
• Tracking of all media coverage
• Keeping campaign reports up-to-date , organized and integrated or cohesive
• Collaborating as team member on projects
• Staying on message
• Completing assigned tasks
• Some travel opportunities (LA, Denver, Aspen, Vail, NYC, Boston, Maui, Honolulu, Dubai, Zurich, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul)

Required Experience and Skillsets

• 4 to 6 years of PR experience as a senior publicist, account executive or junior publicist in an agency or studio setting.
• Proof of concept and experience promoting, coordinating and booking speaking engagements and publicity for beauty, fitness and wellness personalities and relationship experts
• Expertise and experience in all aspects of film/content publicity
• Enthusiastic self-motivated player
• Capacity to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Strong book of business and existing media relationships
• Press contacts in LA, NYC, national publications and broadcast outlets
• Solid industry contacts translatable into partnership and event opportunities
• Beauty and Lifestyle experience
• Red carpet/celebrity and society roster events
• Attend meetings a must
• Enhanced cognitive/emotional intelligence and effective communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Impeccable writing, phone and media relations skills
• Creative
• Divergent thinker
• Passionate about PR
• Voracious reader of media
• Has worked across all platforms – print, film, television, streaming and also has corporate interest (i.e. representing production companies)

• Bachelor's Degree required
