Our dynamic and talented candidate will provide administrative support for our initiatives to promote and develop flourishing member resources, industry relationships, and educational opportunities. Skill and competence in handling administrative and logistical details is crucial as is speed and efficiency. Some of the core responsibilities include: Creating, developing, coordinating, and managing all member/prospect communication through e–blasts by collaborating with various departments for copy, artwork, and data. Effectively and efficiently field daily member correspondence regarding membership inquiries/challenges, treatments, modalities, and other requests. A general understanding of the skin, hair, and nail industries in order to persuade prospects to join our associations. Connecting with interested beauty schools and educators, students, and establish strategic partners; promoting the benefits of association membership and the importance of liability coverage. Significantly growing brand presence and awareness by participating in our school/salon/spa visitation program (requires some travel throughout the United States). Excelling in a team environment and be willing and able to assist with miscellaneous departmental and association tasks as necessary. Qualifications Effective communication skills, dedicated work ethic, superb people skills, and superior analytical and organizational abilities are necessary to succeed in this position. A knack for attention to detail and basic MS Office skills required. An undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred. A licensed esthetician, cosmetologist or nail professional and/or relevant experience in the skin care/spa/cosmetology industry is a plus.
