General Job Summary: A Licensed Esthetician and Cosmetic Laser Technician working under the supervision of Dr. Eipe Kuruvila, MD, FRCA, CLS as medical director, will use SyneronCandela elos technology for a variety of skin care applications and laser hair removal, as well as customized facials and microdermabrasion treatments.
Blissful Med Spa’s Medical Aesthetic Laser Technician’s role is to help improve the health and appearance of our client’s skin through a variety of minimally invasive therapies, treatments, and procedures through the use of laser equipment, medical-grade skin care products, and cosmeceuticals. The role of the medical aesthetic laser technician is to help improve our clients facial and physical appearance through near medical services utilizing single device and combination treatment protocols, such as Sublative Rejuvenation (fractional), FotoFacial RF Skin Rejuvenation, ReFirme/Sublime Skin Tightening, Laser Hair Removal, Microdermabrasion, Medical Peel, Exfoliations, Pampering / Correction Facial Treatments and other popular forms of skin care treatments. The medical aesthetic laser technician must be familiar with the concepts, practices, and procedures in a medical aesthetic environment. The medical aesthetic laser technician will perform a variety of tasks including Comprehensive Skin Consultations using VISIA digital imaging and other results-oriented services offered by Blissful Med Spa. They will assist with the continuing development of Blissful Med Spa’s front-line staff and estheticians, which includes but is not limited to training on product knowledge and treatments, development and implementation of spa protocols, and assistance in the development of customer acquisition, retention, and relations materials. In addition, the medical aesthetic laser technician duties will include front desk and reception duties.

Required experience:
  • Esthetician / Cosmetic Laser Technician who ideally, has an NCA certification: 3 years
  • SyneronCandela elos technology: 3 years
Required licenses or certifications:
  • State Esthetician License
  • State Laser Certification
