We are looking for a Full-time Nail Technician and a Part-time Nail Technician/Esthetician. For the second position a qualified applicant will be certified as a Nail Technician and Esthetician providing services within both areas.

Nail Technician:
Primary Function
  • The Nail Technician will administer high quality hand and foot treatments which include manicures, pedicures, hand and foot massage, and nail repair.
  • Cross promote to other departments for guest retention.
  • Build a loyal consistent guest book by re-booking.
  • Recommend a home care regimen of body care for guests, and achieve retail sales goals.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service delivery to members and guests.
  • Be familiar with all wellness and fitness services at the Spa and Athletic Club.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Current Colorado cosmetology license to perform nail care services or ability to obtain by start of employment.
  • Position requires the Nail technician to be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day. Walking, bending and standing are required during the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task by task.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Work hours and days must be adaptable to the needs of the position and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Esthetician:
Primary Function:
  • An Esthetician is responsible to administer skin care and waxing treatments.
  • If qualified, will perform herbal wraps, scrubs, body wraps, and other non-massage treatments.
  • Cross promote to other departments for guest retention.
  • Build a loyal consistent guest book by re-booking.
  • Recommend a home care regiment of personal skincare products for guests, and achieve retail sales goals.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service delivery to members and guests.
  • Be familiar with all wellness and fitness services at the Spa of the Rockies and the Athletic club.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing stairs, listening and hearing ability. Must be able to stand exert for up to 6 hours in length.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Physical stamina required.
  • Visual dexterity with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Keep a professional appearance, behavior, decorum and attitude at all times.
  • Attention to detail and organization, excellent teamwork, integrity, cheerful, welcoming, warm attitude and demeanor.
Educational Requirements
  • Minimum of one year previous experience giving depilatory and skincare treatments in similar setting, preferred.
  • Valid Colorado license to perform skincare services or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Facility and ease with computer software programs
