Position Summary:  This position is responsible for providing professional skin care treatments, including waxing, using the standard protocols established by Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, for recommending a maintenance program and products to be used at home, and for giving clients instructions on how to use the products to help them obtain and maintain healthy, beautiful skin. Essential Functions:   Greets clients appropriately  Documents professional notes at look-up station computer  Understands and utilizes the Facial Intake Form  Ability to assess client’s physical needs and to have the knowledge of proper treatment methods to insure that no harm comes to client  Knows the dangers and limitations of the chemicals being used  Maintains complete knowledge of skin care products used at Hand and Stone  Performs exceptional skin care treatments  Responsible for sanitization of all tools and equipment used after each client  Ensures that the room is set up properly  Performs services within allotted time  Assists with spa laundry  After each client, changes room over (changing sheets, etc.)  Attend all required meetings and training sessions, (webinars)  Arrives 15 minutes prior to scheduled time  Calls clients regarding results of new services/new products  Communicates effectively with Spa Associates  Stocks treatment room with appropriate supplies  Sells products to clients for improvement of skin health  Educates client about products used on skin / why a product brand was used  Accepts criticism and improves skills  Completes additional tasks assigned by Spa Manager and Lead Esthetician  Ensures that room temperature is adequate Esthetician Job Description Hand & Stone:   Ensures that table temperature is adequate  Ensures that room is set up properly  Ensures that room is neat and clean  Ensures that music is at appropriate level  Ensures that client is comfortable  Checks schedule throughout the day for updates and changes  Suggests enhancements for improved experience  Adheres to dress code Additional Requirements:   Hold professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1/$2 Million with the company listed as additionally insured Minimum Education and Experience:   High School Diploma or equivalent.  Licensed Esthetician in the State of Colorado  Certified in microdermabrasion and chemical peels Working Conditions:   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.  Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) Job Type: Part-time Required education: High school or equivalent Required licenses or certifications: chemical peels microdermabrasion 1 day ago -  save job » Apply Now Please review all application instructions before applying to Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa - Cherry Creek.
