Estheticians are responsible for providing professional skin care treatments using the standard protocols established by Massage Envy, for recommending a maintenance program and products to be used at home, and for giving clients instructions on how to use the products to help them obtain and maintain healthy, beautiful skin.
Responsibilities of our Estheticians include but are not limited to:
Perform professional quality facials, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
Perform chemical peels and microderm infusions within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
Assists in the cleanliness of the clinic (treatment rooms and common areas). Must follow infection prevention, control and cleaning procedures.
May use only Massage Envy approved protocols, in accordance with applicable law in your location.
Maintain professional appearance at all times.
Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Perform Healthy Skin facials based on client's individual needs.
Assists in the sales process by promoting the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving Healthy Skin facials on a regular basis.
Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude.
Generate new clientele through promoting member referral and guest pass programs.
Reliable, on time attendance. Attends all scheduled shifts, is prompt to work and works entire scheduled shift.
Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Certified in chemical peel and microderm
Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the esthetic services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Esthetics License.
Team player who wants to work hard and have fun
Be able to pass any and all required background checks
Willingness to grow professionally through advanced professional training
DORA licensed/certification and liability insurance
