Busy dermatology practice looking for a Licensed Aesthetician. The aesthetician is responsible for providing high-end skin and aesthetic consultation and services. This person must have a good work ethic, and be polished and professional in both demeanor and dress. He/she will be reliable and outgoing, an enthusiastic, detail oriented problem solver with exceptional customer service skills. The office is fully computerized and uses an electronic health record system.
This position is full-time. It requires travel to satellite offices and a varying schedule, including some Saturday hours.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Aesthetic consultation on both skin care products and aesthetic treatments
- Customized facials and treatments
- Acne surgery treatments, milia and skin tag removal
- Coolsculpting® consultations and treatments
- Perform laser treatments including Dual Fraxel®, Vbeam® Perfecta, and photo dynamic therapy
- Coordinate and assist with cosmetic education/marketing events
- Administrative duties including answering the phone, phone consults, scheduling appointments, work flow, taking payments, managing aesthetic product inventory
The aesthetician will document all aspects of the client encounter in an electronic medical record system. He/she must be comfortable and proficient with mainstream computer technology and software.
This person must be a quick learner who exhibits good judgment and be able to work independently, while maintaining a friendly demeanor towards patients and clients. He/she must be comfortable working closely with the dermatologist in determining best options for the client. Ability to multi-task is vital.
Effective written and verbal communication is necessary to ensure each client interaction is carried out in a professional and concise manner. The aesthetician will be motivated, compassionate, responsive, adaptive and eager to learn.
This position is full time. Shifts will vary, but the candidate must be available Monday - Friday from 7:45A - 6P, and up to two Saturdays per month until 2P. Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation and be able to travel to our satellite offices, all within a 25-mile radius of Lafayette, CO.
The right candidate must have a current aesthetician license. Previous Dermatology office, medical spa, Coolsculpting and laser experience is preferred. This person must have superior technical skills and a natural ability to connect with clients. Must appreciate and be comfortable with the high level of aesthetic services provided in a dermatology practice. Must be proficient and enjoy sales aspect of aesthetics.
Note: Tattoos are allowed, but not on the face, throat or hands. Other visible tattoos must be covered.
