We are looking for an ah-mazing experienced licensed esthetician to join us at our luxury spa in Boulder, True Bloom Spa (www.truebloomspa.com @truebloom_spa). At True Bloom we are all about plant-powered, organic and environmentally friendly products combined with the ultimate in spa services for our members and guests. We enjoy delivering five star service, delighting our guests, having a beautiful work environment, and we respect our team members.
As an esthetician you will administer professional facials, treatmentadd-ons and waxing services to our guests. You must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellentfacial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanlinessand sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facialtreatment offerings. You must love people, possessexcellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and serviceknowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions tomeet the needs of our guests. You musthold and maintain a current Colorado state license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide consistent professional facial treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
· Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
· Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
· Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
· Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product.
· Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
· Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures. Perform prep work, properly clean and restockroom as required.
· Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
· Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to requests by guests.
· Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
· Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
· Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
· Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
· Follow all of the standards as required in the description of services and their protocols.
Position requirements: · Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills. · Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality. · Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge. · Must be a team player.
Education and Experience Requirements: · Must hold and maintain a current Colorado state license· Must have 5+ years experience, prefer at least 2+ years spa experience
